Greetings SCLAers,
Excited for our seniors as they are busily working on college applications. We wish you well. Be sure to tell us when you know where you are going next year!
We will begin featuring our SCLA seniors in the blog next week.
A quick reminder for all seniors.
Please be respectful of the time and effort your teachers, the administration, counselors and coaches are putting in on your behalf to write letters of recommendation for you. A hand written thank you note to them will be greatly appreciated, shows good manners and is very leaderly!

Mrs. Gurule's class will be off on a field trip on MONDAY, NOV 5th to do a leadership conference with the 5th graders at Longmont Estates. Parent Drivers are needed!
Mr. Lathrop's class will be heading to Blue Mountain Elementary school to help out there with students on MONDAY NOV 5th as well. They will be walking to Blue Mountain, so please dress appropriately for the weather!
Mrs. Gurule's and Mr. Lathrop's classes had a great time with members of the Longmont Rotary Club who came and taught them the 4 way test, listed below. A great checklist for all leaders to consider when making decisions.
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
