November 2nd 2012

I can't believe it is already November! Time is flying by.

Remember to join the Booster Club!  The Booster club helps SCLA TONS!  Please Join!  The Booster Club is a non-profit parent volunteer organization which supports 14 sports, 3 athletic clubs and 27 extracurricular clubs in the school.  Join the club for only $20 and help provide supplies and equipment for ALL students at Silver Creek.  The Booster forms may be picked up at Melissa Lehman’s desk in the front office.  You can also join and pay online at   The meetings are on the 4th Monday of each month in the library at 6 pm.  It would be AWESOME if ALL of our SCLA parents joined!

  •  Sell some wreaths!  Help SCLA out by selling holiday wreaths.
  • Put Monday, Nov. 12th on your calendar to go to MENCHIES!  SCLA fundraiser with yummy frozen Yogurt with awesome toppings.  Anytime from 2:30-10pm.  SCLA gets 20% ! Copy and bring this flyer: Menchies Flyer
  • Donate canned food items or hygine items for SCLA 10th graders to donate to The Our Center. Drop items off at Mrs. Gurule's class or Mr. Lathrop's class.

Mrs. Gurule

Mrs. Gurule's class head's to Longmont Estates Elementary School on Monday Nov. 5th.  They will be hosting a leadership day with all 5th graders.  They have worked hard to create experiential learning activities for the students.  Dress in SCLA /SCHS clothes and prepare to be outside if weather is decent. (Forcast is sunny and mid 60's)  Parent drivers must turn in Insurance forms and all students need permission slips. We will be back to SCHS between 2:30 and 2:40,  so students who ride the bus need to make other arrangements. If this is a concern contact Ms. Adams.

Mr. Lathrop

Mr. Lathrop's class heads to Blue Mountain Elementary school on Monday, Nov. 5th.  They will be walking over and helping out around the school in various classrooms.  Please dress for the  weather to walk!  Permission slips must  be turned in to attend this event.
