2013 Leadership Retreat a success!

What a way to kick off
school year!
100 incoming freshmen heading the the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado to host our 5th Annual Silver Creek Leadership Academy Retreat.
We started out before leaving Silver Creek HS with a visit from the Longmont Sister Cities groups from Japan and Mexico.  Our SCLA ambassadors took them on a tour of SCHS, did some team building activities with them and we wrapped up with a group picture!

We enjoyed some get-to-know you games as soon as we arrived in Estes Park.

An "Instagram" scavenger hunt- #sclaretreat2013

We had an evening meeting sharing the message of Rachel's Challenge, and why Silver Creek HS is a place where we work to create a chain reaction of kindness.
